About Soda Pop, a song by the talented musical artist, Saja Boys featuring Andrew Choi, neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, SamUIL & KPop Demon Hunters Cast, which is the third song on the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack, and the first sung by the Saja Boys. The Saja Boys were formed by the demon Jinu as a way to combat HUNTR/X by hitting them where it hurts: the fans.
Jinu assembled four other demons to create his own K-Pop group to rival HUNTR/X’s popularity, and “Soda Pop” was made to be a catchy and unforgettable tune that would get stuck in peoples’ heads and turn the Saja Boys into a national sensation overnight. Ian Eisendrath, the Executive Music Producer for KPop Demon Hunters, stated in an interview with Tudum that the goal of the song was to “create one of those super bubblegum-y K-pop boy band songs in the style of a song like ‘Butter’ [by BTS].”
